Tax Agent Services Act Disclosures
As a registered tax agent with the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB), we’re required to keep you fully informed about our registration, the services we provide, and your rights as our client.
1. Registration Details
Red Jay Advisory is registered under the Tax Agent Services Act 2009.

2. What We Must Tell You
Whether you’re an existing or prospective client, you’ll receive clear written information on all of the following:
TPB Public Register: that a register exists and how to search it.
Complaints Process: how to complain to the TPB if you’re unhappy with our service.
Rights & Obligations:
Your obligations: providing accurate, complete and timely information.
Our obligations: acting professionally under the Tax Agent Services Act, the professional Code, and all taxation laws.
Prescribed Events (Last 5 Years): any suspensions, bankruptcies, convictions, external administrations or civil penalties affecting our registration since 1 July 2020.
Conditions on Registration: any TPB‑imposed restrictions on the services we can provide.
We have no reportable events or conditions.
3. How You’ll Receive This Information
On engagement/re‑engagement: included in our engagement letter and on this website page.
On request: we’ll provide the TPB “Information for clients” factsheet.
When things change: we’ll notify you within 30 days of any new reportable event or condition.
4. Your Rights & Responsibilities
Your Rights:
Receive clear, professional advice and updates.
Have your information treated confidentially.
Expect fair, unbiased service.
Your Responsibilities:
Supply full and accurate details promptly.
Respond promptly to our requests.
Tell us about any changes that may affect your tax/BAS position.
5. Making a Complaint
If you have concerns about our service, please feel free to contact us first—we aim to resolve issues directly and quickly. For any complaints, please email either Ben Jackson or Ash Jackson - your complaint will be handled by a director unrelated to the complaint where possible. If you are unhappy with the outcome of your complaint, you can make a complaint directly to the TPB via the following methods:
